i watched war of the worlds.
damn. its good. i think actually good enough to balance out the being grounded part. haha! so it was worth while. but i promise i was actuallhy going to tell my parents that i was going for a movie before actually going for the movie. but daniel thanks for beating me to it. bleah. actually the book is better. more vivid. but u know what... how can u squeeze such a fantastic book into a less than 2 hr movie? makes sense right? lol! hmmm... i wanna go read the book AGAIN. haha! then again, dakota fanning was brilliant. tom cruise was good, but not brilliant. good enough to bring out the whole war-ry thing. haha! but i still think such a fantastic book deserves more. like MORE. hmmm... the special effects were good. on the whole i give it 4 and a half out of five! great casting is one reason why! hahah! okay maybe i'm not sane. but haha! sane or not sane whatever. haha! okay i've decided... i wanna do my ITP in advertising. and yes, benita i envy you having secured ur ITP in DDB. i'm green. i wish i could u know. but i wanna do the creatives side. then again.... the creatives might be abit far fetched might it? maybe maybe. but i'm gonna work towards that. okay but i have other kinda goals to work toward now... like getting an interviewee for my first field assignment... okay back to the advertising thing.... but there are those who tell me to keep my options open. okay so what are my other options? i'm thinking photo journ. i remember very clearly the photos in FCC. i was astounded by the depth a 2D image can give. i know it sounds oxymoronic. but its true. its was truly amazing. the amount of emotions some of those photos captured... man. it really proves the cliched phrase "a picture paints a thousand words" to be true. puts all writings to shame. oh wells. we'll see about it. yeap. my eyes are starting to droop. i need a cure for my eye bags - - -
